Q: Why will we Kovan Test Network for testnet ?
A : Because there is no testnet for Matic token on Polygon, we need to use Kovan. But don’t worry, Polygon is a layer 2 blockchain network built on top of Ethereum, so smartcontract on Polygon is like smartcontract on Kovan network (Ethereum).
How to join testnet
Step 1: Connect your wallet and swap for OXI via this link.
Step 2 : Choose Kovan testnet from your wallet
Step 3: Get ETH from this link faucet: https://linkfaucet.protofire.io/kovan or each player can click Faucet button get 30,000 OXI only once.
Step 4: Connect your wallet and swap for OXI via this link and click Buy OXI
Step 5: Use OXI to buy at least 1 MASCOT on the MarketPlace or Buy Egg in shop to open random MASCOT. Remember to keep some ETH in your wallet for gas fee.
Step 6: Pick a MASCOT for Battle or Farming progam
